Who Am I and Why Am I Fighting This?
My name is John Sorget, and my family was wronged by NCSO and covered up and ignored by the rest of the county. My abused children still have to regularly visit their abuser because failures within NCSO. When trying to peacefully rectify the problem, Sheriff Joe McGill challenged me to expose the failures within the county and “do what you feel is right.”
Making sure the public knows is what feels right. Keeping the county safer for all kids and citizens in the right thing to do.

The vision expands beyond myself and my family, but the understanding that if the Nye County Sheriff’s Office has failed my kids 3 times, how many times have they failed others? If Sheriff Joe McGill would have my family threatened for physical and mental harm and he would use his police resources to do so, how many other people have been a victim to his bullying? If District Attorney Brian Kunzi lies and breaks laws to cover up for the commissioners and Joe McGill, how many other crimes has he covered up for personal gain?
Justice will be brought through legal and public means.
